American Indian Education Day
The 18th annual American Indian Education Day and Wacipi will be held on Saturday, April 27, from noon to 6 p.m. at Osseo Junior High.
Each year, this free event draws community members seeking to explore Native American heritage and culture through artisan exhibits, demonstrations, dance and other activities.
Guests are invited to browse American Indian artisan exhibits and experience Native American contemporary dance. They also can network with community members and educators about American Indian culture.

Two high school seniors honored
Mitchell and Tyler K. Harris, both seniors at Minnetonka High School, have been awarded $2,500 National Achievement Scholarships.
The National Achievement Scholarship Program is a privately financed academic competition established in 1964 to honor scholastically talented black American youth.
Winners were selected based on PSAT scores, high school transcript, extracurricular activities and an essay.
The twin brothers plan to attend the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and study finance.

High school puts on 'Cat's Meow'
"The Cat's Meow," based on the true story of a mysterious Hollywood death, will be presented this weekend at St. Louis Park High School.
