Weapon. A 54-year-old Milaca man was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and driving after license revocation, following a traffic stop at 77th Street and Parklawn Avenue.

Animal complaint. A resident in the 5500 block of Zenith Avenue reported that her daughter was unable to get out of her car due to turkeys "pecking at it."
INDEPENDENCE

Animal complaint. Six dead chickens that appeared to be shot in the head were found at County Road 90 and Drake Drive. The owner of the chickens was unknown and authorities had no leads on who was responsible.

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a plastic sundae lid stuck on an opossum's head at Culver's, 16380 96th Av. N. The officer was able to cut the lid off and took the opossum to a nearby swamp.

Fire alarm. Officers and firefighters responded to a report of an apartment fire alarm in the 5200 block of Bryantwood Drive. When they entered the apartment they saw smoke, smelled burned food and found the broiler on. They took a 31-year-old man, apparently intoxicated and passed out in a chair, to a detox facility.

Assist public. Officers responded to a report of keys locked inside a vehicle in the 5000 block of Independence Street. While they were trying to unlock the vehicle, the driver remembered the code for the keyless entry and was able to get the door open.

Theft. A 16-year-old girl was cited for theft after she was caught shoplifting at Target, 300 Clydesdale Trail.

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle report on Pinnacle Way. They determined the suspect was delivering newspapers.

Check welfare. An officer responded to a report of a 911 hang-up call at a home on Landings Way. The officer found that a toddler was playing with the phone.
PLYMOUTH

Robbery. A male suspect implied he had a handgun and demanded money from a person in the parking lot of Rockford Road Shopping Center near Interstate 494 and County Road 9. The suspect fled on foot with a small amount of cash.

Drugs. A 48-year-old Richfield man was arrested for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and driving after license revocation, following a traffic stop at W. 66th Street and Lyndale Avenue S.
APRIL 4
Customer complaint. An upset customer wanted a different room at the Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S. Motel staffers declined to move the customer.

Theft. An 18-year-old Watertown man was cited for theft at Marketplace Foods, 310 Lewis Av. S.
MARCH 28
Underage consumption. Two 18-year-old men were cited for underage consumption of alcohol in the 200 block of Carter Street NE.
