CHASKA

WEEK OF JUNE 7

Suspicious person. Someone called police to report a suspicious person near Van Sloun Road and Maxwell Lane. Officers located the man, and he appeared to be in a drug-induced state and was experiencing hallucinations. The man was transported to a hospital.

Underage consumption. Police cited two females under the age of 21 for minor consumption of alcohol. They were drinking in a parked vehicle on Parallel Street, police said. One of the females told police that her boyfriend had bought the alcohol for them. The boyfriend was charged with procuring alcohol for minors.

CORCORAN

JUNE 3

Theft. Someone stole five crossbows from the wall of a garage at a home in the 7500 block of Maple Hill Road.

JUNE 6

Underage consumption. Police arrested an 18-year-old Champlin woman, a 20-year-old Corcoran man and a 20-year-old Brooklyn Park man for minor consumption of alcohol in the 20600 block of Larkin Road.

EDINA

JUNE 7

Burglary. Someone broke into a house on the 4200 block of Grimes Avenue and stole jewelry, a safe and documents. Value of the items was estimated at $2,250.

EXCELSIOR

MAY 15

Drugs. An officer was on foot patrol on the 600 block of Excelsior Boulevard when a man who was a passenger in a taxi rode by and stuck his head out the window and yelled "excuse us" to the officer. The officer reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the taxi. The cab was pulled over and the 25-year-old Shorewood man was cited for possession of marijuana.

MAY 30

Drugs. An officer observed two females walking to the shoreline of Lake Minnetonka at Excelsior Commons Park. The officer thought it was suspicious because of the rough terrain they crossed to get to the park. The officer then observed the females holding a clear plastic bag along with a glass smoking pipe. A 16-year-old Minnetonka girl was arrested for possession of marijuana and a 15-year-old Excelsior girl was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

JUNE 7

Underage drinking. Someone called police to report an underage drinking party at an apartment in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue. Police arrested two 18-year-old Minnetonka women, an 18-year-old Chanhassen man, an 18-year-old Shorewood man and an 18-year-old Shorewood woman for underage consumption. An 18-year-old Excelsior woman was cited for underage consumption and violating a loud party ordinance.

MEDINA

MAY 18

Animal complaint. Someone reported that horses were running loose on Arrowhead Drive and Hamel Road. The horses, which had pushed a fence down to get out, were corralled and returned to their owner.

Suspicious vehicle. An officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked by the water tower on Willow Drive. The man in the vehicle told the officer he was just sitting there watching the moon.

PLYMOUTH

JUNE 6

Robbery. Police were called to a townhouse on the 13700 block of 54th Avenue regarding a robbery. According to police reports, three males knocked on the door, and one of the residents answered the door and told them they were at the wrong house. The suspects kicked the door in and entered. They pointed a stun gun at a female and a gun at a male in the townhouse and forced the man to open a safe. The robbers took a gun, cash and a knife and fled.

SHOREWOOD

MAY 19

Animal complaint. Animal control responded to a call about a dog running loose on the 500 block of Kathleen Court. The dog reportedly swims across the lake from Enchanted Island and runs loose in the Kathleen Court neighborhood. The owner was contacted and warned.
