Curfew violation. A Chaska boy and a Carver girl, both juveniles, were cited for curfew violation on the 100 block of Carver Bluffs Parkway.

Alcohol violation. A 19-year-old man was cited for underage possession of alcohol, speeding and no proof of insurance following a traffic stop on Highway 212 and County Road 11.

Drugs. A 49-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and fleeing police following a traffic stop on the 7400 block of France Avenue S.

Disturbance. Officers responded to a home on the 500 block of Mainstreet regarding a disturbance. It was a child having night terrors.

Animal complaint. A dog owner was cited after their dog was reported at large in the area of 10000 block of Pilgrim Way. The owner had been given a verbal warning previously.

Property damage. Someone spray-painted a turkey on the garage door at a home on the 7900 block of Shadyview Lane.

Property damage. Someone spray-painted a swastika on the garage door at a home on the 8200 block of Yuma Court.

Assist public. Officers responded to Baker Park Road and Highway 12 regarding a vehicle that had a bicycle stuck to the front grill. The driver told officers it was her son's bike. She had pulled over to remove it.

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to Hamel Community Building, 3200 Mill Drive, regarding parties "making out" in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and advised a 44-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman that their behavior in a city park was unacceptable.

Property damage. Someone cut the electrical cord to the Christmas lights at a home Covey Trail.
RICHFIELD
DEC. 5
Weapon. A 36-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for possession of a weapon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphneralia following a traffic stop on Diagonal Boulevard and Hwy. 77. There was also a felony warrant for his arrest.
DEC. 6
Theft. Officers responded to a home on the 7500 block of Logan Avenue S. regarding a possible drug overdose. It was discovered that a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta was stolen.
DEC. 8
Burglary. A 31-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for burglary at Sports Authority, 1150 78th St. W., after he was found in possession of theft tools and observed cutting security tags off merchandise.
DEC. 11
Theft. A coin collection, valued at $3,000, was stolen from a home on the 7200 block of Knox Avenue S.
DEC. 13
Drunken driving. A 35-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after getting in a crash at Frenchman's, 1400 66th St. E.
