Protective-order violation: A 49-year-old Edina woman was arrested for violating a protective order in the 5000 block of William Avenue.

Theft: Two cast-iron chairs were stolen from the front yard of a home on 1st Street.

Drugs: A 20-year-old Hopkins woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana after she was stopped for speeding at Morse Avenue and Hwy. 7.

Littering: Someone dumped a slab of meat on a grassy area on 16th Avenue N.

Drunken driving: A 42-year-old Independence man was arrested for drunken driving and felony criminal vehicular operation after the ATV he was driving rolled over, seriously injuring a passenger.

Check welfare: An officer responded to a home in the 5000 block of Hwy. 12 regarding family members fighting. Two siblings, an 11-year-old boy and a 22-year-old woman, got into a fight. A crime was not committed and everything was OK.

OCT. 25

Neighbor problem: A woman from the 1400 block of Halgreen Road reported that while a neighbor was moving furniture into her house, her dog wandered into their yard and pooped. The neighbor man picked it up and put it on the windshield of her vehicle. The dog owner apologized for her dog going in his yard.

NOV. 1

Missing person: Officers responded to a home in the 1100 block of Jubert Trail regarding a missing 36-year-old female. Upon arrival, officers were informed by the 39-year-old husband that she was found sleeping in the closet. She had been missing an hour before he called. Alcohol was a factor.

NOV. 4

Suspicious vehicle: Someone reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road in the 900 block of Foxberry Farms Road. An officer located the vehicle. The driver said he worked for a landscaping company and getting ready to mow a lawn.

Theft: A leaf blower was stolen from an open garage in the 1700 block of Magnolia Lane.

Theft: A 2012 Yamaha was stolen from the 6400 block of Queen Avenue S.

Theft: Cigars were stolen from Golden Tobacco, 22 66th St. W.

OCT. 31

Theft: Two 16-year-old girls, a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and numerous other offenses on 12th Avenue S. and 71st Street E.

Shorewood

OCT. 31

Burglary: A resident of Bracketts Road reported hearing voices in the basement. Officers found that old heat pipes were causing the noises.
