EDEN PRAIRIE

WEEK OF SEPT. 14

Theft: Four vehicle break-ins and a burglary were reported in the neighborhood between Pioneer Trail and Flying Cloud Drive near Eden Prairie Road and Spring Road.

EDINA

SEPT. 8

Assault: A 52-year-old Edina woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and interfering with an emergency call in the 5600 block of Xerxes Avenue S.

SEPT. 9

Drunken driving: A 71-year-old Florida man was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop at 66th Street and York Avenue S.

SEPT. 12

Assault: A 58-year-old Osseo man was arrested for assault and obstructing the legal process and a 50-year-old Edina man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 5200 block of Interlachen Boulevard.

Drugs: A 49-year-old Cottage Grove woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Hwy. 169 and Londonderry Road.

SEPT. 19

Check welfare: Officers responded to Mainstreet regarding children left unattended in a vehicle. The mother was present when officers arrived.

MAPLE PLAIN

SEPT. 10

Welfare check: An officer found a disheveled female at Hwy. 12 and Halgren Road. She was intoxicated and intended to ride her bicycle a long distance down the highway. The 53-year-old Buffalo woman was unable to care for herself and taken to a detox facility.

MEDINA

SEPT. 7

Animal complaint: Someone called police to report that a raccoon was stuck in a barn door in the 2100 block of Chippewa Road. The raccoon was removed to a wooded area.

SHOREWOOD

SEPT. 11

Dispute: Officers responded three times in one week to an ongoing civil dispute between neighbors on Wedgewood Drive.

WATERTOWN

SEPT. 12

Drugs: A juvenile Waconia boy was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 1100 block of Angel Avenue SW.

SEPT. 13

Theft: A 21-year-old Watertown man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, theft, fleeing police and property damage at Amica Drive and County Road 24.

RICHFIELD

SEPT. 13

Theft: Clothing, valued at $150, was stolen from a dryer at an apartment building in the 700 block of 77th Street E.

SEPT. 14

Theft: A 1998 Hyundai Elantra was stolen from the 800 block of 66th Street W.

SEPT. 16

Theft: A 19-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested on suspicion of theft after officers responded to a report of car prowlers at 64th Street E. and Clinton Avenue S.

SEPT. 17

Drugs: Following a traffic stop at 77th Street W. and Nicollet Avenue S., a 29-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for possession of cocaine and two women from St. Paul, ages 28 and 31, were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a motor vehicle.
