EDINA

APRIL 17

Drunken driving: A 53-year-old Edina woman was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop at 50th Street and Vernon Avenue.

APRIL 18

Drugs: A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol at 60th Street and Ewing Avenue.

APRIL 19

Drugs: A 16-year-old girl was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on the 4000 block of Inglewood Avenue.

Burglary: A Minneapolis man, 31, was arrested on suspicion of burglary after allegedly breaking into a storage building at Braemar Arena, 7501 Ikola Way.

HOPKINS

APRIL 19

Check welfare: Officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Hollyhock Lane regarding a 911 hang-up call. It was discovered that children were playing with the phone.

MAPLE GROVE

APRIL 12

Missing person: A child was reported missing from a business in the 15000 block of Grove Circle. Officers found the child on the railroad tracks and returned the child to the mother.

MEDINA

APRIL 18

Fire: A grass fire was reported in the 1700 block of Morgan Road. A homeowner was cited for not having a permit to burn. He was burning a small brush pile and the wind caused the fire to spread.

PLYMOUTH

APRIL 21

Arson: Someone used a Molotov cocktail to burn a portable toilet in the 4300 block of Zachary Lane.

RICHFIELD

MAY 1

Theft: A 43-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for stealing merchandise from Target, 6445 Richfield Pkwy.

MAY 3

False information: Officers responded to 66th Street and Portland Avenue regarding an intoxicated 26-year-old Minneapolis man who fell off his bicycle. He gave officers a false name and it was discovered he was the subject of two warrants. He was arrested and cited for giving false information to police.

Drugs: A 47-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested for possession of a methamphetamine after he was found slumped over in a vehicle in the 6400 block of Oliver Avenue S.

Assault: A 32-year-old Arizona woman was arrested for assault after she allegedly sprayed pepper spray in another woman's face in the 1700 block of 66th Street E.

Theft: A 32-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of a stolen vehicle at 12th Avenue S. and 68th Street E.

APRIL 17

Suspicious activity: Someone reported that a white truck was driving down the walking paths at Lake Rebecca Park. It was discovered the truck was there for a frog survey and was driving around looking for frogs.

Animal complaint: Someone called to report a cow in the ditch at County Road 43 and Tellers Road.

Drugs: Four juvenile males were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 1500 block of Sandbar Circle.

Animal complaint: Someone reported a goat was loose in the 3700 block of County Road 10.
