MARCH 10

Disorderly conduct: An18-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct at SouthWest Metro Educational Cooperative, 401 4th St. E.

HOPKINS

MARCH 10

Check welfare: Officers responded to a home on the 900 block of 7th Street S. regarding a 911 hang-up call. It was discovered that a child was playing with the phone and everything was fine.

MARCH 15

Child found: Officers responded to 11th Avenue S. regarding a young child walking in the street. The child's mother was located and they were reunited.

INDEPENDENCE

MARCH 13

Animal complaint: Somoene called police to report several cows walking on the road near County Roads 6 and 90. Officers were unable to locate the cows.

MAPLE GROVE

MARCH 1

Drugs: An 18-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested for possession of marijuana and on a warrant for his arrest at Hemlock Lane N. and Main Street N.

MARCH 2

Burglary: A 20-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools in the 10400 block of 105th Avenue N.

Disorderly conduct: An 18-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested for disorderly conduct following a disturbance in the 9800 block of Fernbrook Lane N.

MARCH 11

Arson: Someone set fire to a garbage can at 77th Avenue and Queensland Lane. Another one was set on fire in the 7000 block of Merrimac Lane.

PLYMOUTH

MARCH 7

Missing child: Officers responded to the 10900 block of Hwy. 55 on a report of a missing child. The child was found, and a 39-year-old Champlin woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

MARCH 11

Assault: A 16-year-old boy was cited for fighting at Wayzata High School, 4955 Peony Lane N.

MARCH 15

Underage consumption: Officers responded to a home in the 4600 block of Xene Lane N. regarding a noise complaint. Officers issued 10 citations for underage consumption to adults aged 19 and 20.

RICHFIELD

MARCH 19

Disorderly conduct: A 34-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for disorderly conduct following a disturbance at Champps, 790 66th St. W.

MARCH 20

Assault: A student was assaulted at Richfield High School, 7001 Harriet Av. S. The assault was videotaped and posted on a fight site within Facebook that went viral.

Drugs: A Richfield woman, 23, was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, driving after suspension, child-restraint violation and no proof of insurance following a traffic stop at 13th Avenue S. and 66th Street E.

MARCH 24

Disorderly conduct: A 42-year-old Richfield man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was found trying to enter someone else's apartment in the 6300 block of Dupont Avenue S.

Disorderly conduct: A 22-year-old Richfield woman was cited for disorderly conduct following a disturbance in the 100 block of W. 78th Street.
