Check welfare: Officers responded to a home in the 19700 block of Hunters Ridge regarding a 911 hang-up call. As they were en route, the dispatcher advised them that everything was fine; children had been playing with the phone.

JAN. 22

Drugs: A 23-year-old Minnetonka man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Hwy. 62 and Tracy Avenue.

JAN. 23

Burglary: Several electronic items were stolen from a home in the 5300 block of Forslin Drive.

Assault: A 46-year-old Edina woman was arrested for assault in the 7200 block of York Avenue S.

JAN. 24

Alcohol violation: A 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were arrested for underage possession of alcohol at a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Minnehaha Boulevard.

FEB. 10

Suspicious activity: An employee at Cherie Consignment Boutique, 278 Water St., reported that a male had been coming to the store to try on women's clothing; however, he never buys anything. He was asked to leave the store.

FEB. 11

Robbery: A man reported that three unknown males approached him as he was walking to his vehicle in the 600 block of 3rd Avenue, pushed him down and stole his wallet.

JAN. 16

Suspicious activity: Someone reported a person climbing through a window in the 15000 block of 68th Place. It was a contractor working on the home.

MEDINA

JAN. 19

Suspicious activity: A woman called police to report hearing howling sounds and people talking in the 2200 block of Chestnut Road. According to police reports, an officer did hear a howling sound that could have been from an animal or a person pretending to be an animal. No one was located.

JAN. 25

Assist public: A female called police because she was locked out of her house in the 3300 block of Hunter Drive. An officer advised her he could force open the door. She said she would call her father for a key.

RICHFIELD

FEB. 6

Drunken driving: A 31-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for drunken driving after she hit a gas pump at Repair Rite Automotive, 1217 66th St. E. She left the scene, walking, with two small children.

FEB. 7

Drugs: A 19-year-old Richfield man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding after he was stopped at 10th Avenue S. and 73rd Street E.

FEB. 9

Drugs: A Minneapolis woman, 22, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at 12th Avenue S. and 77th Street E.

FEB. 10

Theft: A snowblower was stolen from a garage that was left open overnight at a home in the 6200 block of Logan Avenue S.

SHOREWOOD

FEB. 8

Animal complaint: Officers responded to the 5700 block of Smithtown Way regarding two deer with their antlers stuck together. According to police reports, one deer was deceased. Officers used their Taser to immobilize the other buck and cut his antler. After a short time, the deer got up and fled.
