CORCORAN

OCT. 13

Suspicious activity: A resident of the 10600 block of Hidden Valley Drive reported that a neighbor's vehicle had been running all night long. Officers found the neighbor was fine and had forgotten to turn the vehicle off.

EXCELSIOR

NOV. 16

Trespassing: A resident of the 600 block of Pleasant Street reported coming home and finding a female passed out on her dog's bed in the living room. Officers found the intoxicated woman had walked into the wrong home.

INDEPENDENCE

OCT. 29

Theft: Two cedar logs were reported to be missing from a pole barn in the 2300 block of Old Post Road.

MAPLE PLAIN

OCT. 25

Fire: Smoke was reported from the third floor of an apartment building on the 5200 block of Bryantwood Drive. A tenant had fallen asleep while making a pizza. There wasn't a fire and the Maple Plain Fire Department ventilated the building to clear out the smoke.

OCT. 27

Assist public: Officers responded to the 5300 block of Joyce Street for a domestic. A woman was upset because her boyfriend's ex-wife showed up at a conference and he looked at her.

OCT. 30

Suspicious activity: Someone called police to report that something was moving from tree to tree at Rainbow Park. Officers found nothing suspicious.

MEDINA

OCT. 22

Assist public: A woman called to report that she was locked out of her home in the 800 block of Fox Path Court and a 2-year-old child was inside. A neighbor arrived and helped her get into the house.

Fire: A grass fire was ignited on the 1100 block of Hamel Road after the homeowner dumped a pile of coals ­onto a brush pile.

OCT. 23

Suspicious person: Someone reported a male walking down the street dressed all in black at Northridge Drive and Spur Circle. Officers found nothing suspicious. The man was just walking with a flashlight and talking on a ­cellphone.

OCT. 26

Curfew: Four juveniles were cited after they were caught for curfew violations and throwing eggs at a police squad car on County Road 24 and Northridge Drive.

OCT. 27

Theft: Lumber valued at $10,000 was stolen from a yard on South Bay Drive.

RICHFIELD

NOV. 14

Disorderly conduct: A Richfield man, 45, was cited for disorderly conduct after getting into a fight with another male at Rainbow Foods, 140 66th St. W.

NOV. 15

Assault: A 26-year-old Bloomington man was arrested on suspicion of ­assault after stabbing and assaulting someone in the 7300 block of Pleasant Avenue S.

NOV. 16

Theft: A necklace valued at $10,000 was stolen from Progress Valley treatment center, 308 78th. St. E.

NOV. 17

Theft: A 2007 Chrysler Town and Country van was stolen from the driveway of a home on the 7200 block of 18th Avenue S. The vehicle had been left running.
