MAY 13

Drunken driving: An Eden Prairie man was arrested for drunken driving after striking a light pole on the 19000 block of Lake Drive E.

MAY 16

Missing person: A mother reported her 4-year-old boy was missing from the Carver County Library, 7711 Kerber Blvd. He had walked out to the park and playground area. He was found a short time later and reunited with his mother.

WEEK OF MAY 20

Property damage: Several gravestones were damaged in Guardian Angels Ceme­tery on Tupela Way.

EDINA

JUNE 1

Theft: Two 13-year-old girls were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting clothing at JC Penney in Southdale Center.

Assault: A 23-year-old man was arrested for assault in the 5700 block of Benton Avenue.

EXCELSIOR

MAY 25

Drunken driving: A 51-year-old Excelsior woman was arrested for drunken driving after her vehicle struck some trees on the 700 block of Excelsior Boulevard.

MAY 27

Noise complaint: A resident complained of a pounding noise for three days from the unit above him at an apartment complex on the 800 block of 3rd Avenue. The neighbors said they were chopping meat on a chopping block.

Animal complaint: Someone reported a dead duck in the road at Hwy. 7 and Oak Street. Officers removed the duck.

MAY 29

Burglary: A television and cash were stolen from a home in the 500 block of 2nd Street. There were no signs of forced ­entry.

MAY 30

Theft: A driver's license and $500 were stolen from a locked locker at LA Fitness, 6501 Lyndale Av. S.

MAY 31

Theft: A watch valued at $1,000 was stolen from a locked locker at LA Fitness, 6501 Lyndale Av. S.

Burglary: A burglary occurred at an apartment on the 7700 block of Penn Ave­nue S. after the resident stepped outside the complex to smoke a cigarette and she did not lock the door.

JUNE 1

Assault: A 43-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting her daughter with a knife at an apartment on the 7600 block of Penn Avenue S.

SHOREWOOD

MAY 28

Drugs: A 20-year-old Shorewood woman was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia after her vehicle was stopped for an equipment violation on Eureka and Smithtown Roads.

MAY 29

Drugs: A 22-year-old Excelsior man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia after his vehicle was stopped for an inoperative headlight on Eureka Road and Hwy. 7.

MAY 31

Theft: A skid loader and attachments were stolen from a work site on the 20900 block of Radisson Road. The value is in excess of $15,000.

TONKA BAY

MAY 30

Burglary: A 20-year-old Excelsior man was arrested for burglary on Pleasant Avenue. He had stolen tools and beer in his possession.

YOUNG AMERICA TOWNSHIP

MAY 13

Theft: A 2013 Honda Accord valued at $26,000 was stolen from the 13000 block of Steward Avenue.
