JUNE 16

Fire. A man reported that he was having a bonfire on the 22100 block of Woodland Lane and one of his trees had caught fire. The fire department cut down the hollow tree and extinguished the flames.

Assault. A patient assaulted a security guard at Fairview Southdale Hospital, 6401 France Av. S.

JULY 7

Drugs. A 20-year-old Hopkins man was arrested for possession of marijuana after he was stopped for a traffic violation at Interlachen Boulevard and Bywood W.

JULY 8

Underage consumption. A 20-year-old Edina man was cited for underage consumption after he was found lying in a driveway on Wooddale Avenue and Dunberry Lane.

JULY 12

Theft. A donation jar containing $30 was stolen from SuperAmerica, 5205 Vernon Av. S.

INDEPENDENCE

JUNE 1

Shots fired. Officers responded to County Road 83 and Joyce Street regarding a loud boom or possible gunshot. A 51-year-old man on the 1400 block of Joyce Street had set off a plastic bottle bomb.

MAPLE GROVE

JUNE 9

Theft. Two golf carts were stolen from a driveway on the 17600 block of Weaver Lake Drive.

JUNE 11

Burglary. Prescription medication was stolen from a home on the 400 block of West Eagle Lake Drive.

JUNE 5

Underage drinking. Eleven people were cited for underage alcohol consumption at a loud party on Edsall Road.

PLYMOUTH

JUNE 1

Trespassing. Four people, ages 17 to 19, were cited for underage consumption and trespassing after they were found sleeping in the exercise room at Coachman Trails apartments, 1305 Olive Lane.

RICHFIELD

JULY 5

Suspicious person. A 37-year-old man with two active warrants was arrested after he was found sleeping in a hallway on the 2700 block of 66th Street W.

JULY 6

Disorderly conduct. An intoxicated 38-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for disorderly conduct at 66th Street and Chicago Avenue S. He was taken to a detox facility.

JULY 15

Fleeing police. A 19-year-old Richfield man was cited for fleeing an officer, possession of alcohol and underage consumption at 1st Avenue and 73rd Street.
