CORCORAN

SEPT. 28

Theft. A 25-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were issued citations for theft after they were caught stuffing candy into their pockets at Corcoran Crossroads, 7625 County Road 116.

Assault. Officers responded to the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road regarding an incident in which a 6-year-old boy allegedly hit an 8-year-old boy on a school bus. An officer spoke with all the parties involved and the parents agreed to keep the boys away from one another and to have the school reassign their seats on the bus.

SEPT. 29

Suspicious person. Someone reported that a suspicious man with a clipboard was going door-to-door and walking around the neighborhood on the 8600 block of Trail Haven Road. Officers located the man and found he was a city assessor inspecting properties.

OCT. 4

Property damage. Officers responded to a home on the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road regarding property damage. Someone had keyed the residents' vehicle and had written on it with marker. Officers discovered that two children, ages 2 and 3, had marked up the vehicle.

Theft. A keyboard valued at $180 was stolen from the Guitar Center at 3650 Hazelton Road.

OCT. 2

Weapons. A 29-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for driving after suspension of his license and possession of a prohibited weapon following a traffic stop on the 5100 block of Edina Industrial Boulevard.

OCT. 4

Theft. Someone stole a passport, tools and a bag from an unlocked vehicle on the 4200 block of Parklawn Avenue.

Drugs. A 60-year-old Richfield man was arrested on the 6800 block of York Avenue S. for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Someone had called police to report an intoxicated person.

Theft. Pop and money were stolen from a pop machine outside a business on the 300 block of Water Street.

SEPT. 23

Property damage. Someone poured a green substance on a vehicle on the 5100 block of West Street.

Theft. A cat carrier was reported missing from a home on the 9100 block of 7th Street S.

SEPT. 29

Public intoxication. Someone reported a drunk male walking at 9 a.m. along the 1300 block of Lake Street, carrying a beer bottle. Officers located the 41-year-old man and he was transported to a detox facility.

SEPT. 25

Theft. Gargoyles valued at $300 were stolen from the yard of a home on Kennedy Memorial Drive.

Drugs. Following a traffic stop on Hwy. 7, a 16-year-old boy was cited for possession of marijuana and tobacco. His father was also in the vehicle and was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

OCT. 1

Suspicious activity. Officers confiscated 30 rolls of toilet paper after encountering suspicious vehicles along Eastview Avenue.

SEPT. 30

Burglary. Golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked garage at a home on the 15000 block of 49th Avenue N.

RICHFIELD

OCT. 7

Theft. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 7300 block of Aldrich Avenue S.
