CORCORAN

SEPT. 27

Medical. Officers responded to a medical emergency on the 20100 block of County Road 11, where a 34-year-old man had a meat hook stuck in his leg. He was transported to the hospital.

SEPT. 29

Suspicious vehicle. Someone called police to report a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on the 7500 block of County Road 116. An officer found it was a newspaper carrier taking a nap.

OCT. 2

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at 12:23 a.m. on the 9600 block of County Road 101. An officer found a vehicle with the door open and headlights on. An officer spoke with the driver, who said his horses had gotten out of a fenced area and he was trying to get them back inside the fence.

OCT. 5

Property damage. Officers responded to a home on the 8400 block of County Road 19 regarding a property damage incident. According to police reports, the reporting party told officers he had pulled his vehicle into his garage when he came home. The vehicle must not have been in park, however, because it rolled out of the garage, down a driveway, across a road and through a barbed wire fence. It finally stopped 60 yards into a pasture.

EDINA

OCT. 1

Theft. A 2005 Acura and its contents were stolen from the driveway of a home on the 5300 block of Chantrey Road. It was later recovered in Eagan.

MAPLE GROVE

OCT. 5

Theft. A GPS unit and coins were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on the 7400 block of Mariner Lane.

MAPLE PLAIN

SEPT. 26

Theft. According to police reports, someone called police to report that an iPod had been stolen from the 5200 block of Manchester Drive. The owner called back to say it had been found in a drawer.

MINNEAPOLIS

SEPT. 21

Robbery. According to police reports, a man was waiting for the bus on the corner of 35th Avenue N. and Fremont Avenue N. when he was approached by two men who pulled a handgun and demanded his money. The suspects fled with $700 and a new pair of tennis shoes.

SEPT. 22

Robbery. A woman called police to report a robbery on the 2900 block of Penn Avenue N. According to police reports, she was in her garage when a man entered through the open service door and ripped a gold necklace off her neck and fled. The necklace was valued at $1,000.

PLYMOUTH

SEPT. 27

Assault. Officers were called to Plymouth Middle School, 10011 36th Av. N., regarding an assault. According to police reports, a teacher had instructed a 12-year-old male student to put his phone away. The teacher then observed him using it again and attempted to take it away. The boy punched the teacher in the forearm with a closed fist, police said.

Underage smoking. Someone called police to report that there were kids smoking at a park on the 3700 block of Pilgrim Lane. An officer found a 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl, and a boy and a girl who were both 16. All four were cited and their parents were notified.

SEPT. 28

Burglary. Police were called to a home on the 900 block of County Road 101 regarding a burglary. According to police reports, someone entered the home while the resident was having a garage sale and stole jewelry from the kitchen counter. Value of the stolen items was estimated at $4,000.

SEPT. 29

Property damage. Someone called police to report that children were on the roof of a school on the 17300 block of County Road 6. An officer located two 10-year-old boys who had entered the building and spread grease and cleaning substances throughout the building. The boys were not charged because of their age, but their parents will be responsible for restitution.
