CHANHASSEN

OCT. 14

Underage consumption. An 18-year-old Chanhassen man was cited for underage consumption on the 2200 block of Lyman Boulevard.

Drugs. A 20-year-old Excelsior man was cited for driving after cancellation, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was stopped on Hwy. 7 and Oriole Avenue.

CORCORAN

OCT. 4

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home on the 9000 block of Trail Haven Road regarding an intoxicated mother watching her son. When officers arrived, the woman's husband had just arrived home and everything was fine.

Property damage. A resident from 10400 block of Trail Haven Road reported damage to their yard caused by loose pigs from earlier in the day.

OCT. 22

Property damage. Officers responded to Corcoran Lions Park, on the 7200 block of County Road 101, regarding some foam gravestones that had been damaged and an extension cord that had been cut. Upon investigation, it was determined the gravestones fell over in the wind, and the extension cord was cut by a lawn mower.

Theft. A skeleton, valued at $50, was reported stolen from the 5000 block of 56th Street.

OCT. 17

Theft. Jewelry, valued at $25,335, was reported stolen from a home on the 4500 block of Drexel Avenue.

EXCELSIOR

Drugs. A 16-year-old Woodland boy was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after he was stopped for numerous traffic violations near Excelsior Boulevard and Minnetonka Boulevard.

INDEPENDENCE

OCT. 15

Suspicious activity. An officer stopped to check a vehicle parked along the road in the 2900 block of Copeland Road. A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were both partially undressed in the back seat of the car. The teenager's mother was contacted and said it was OK to release her daughter but she wanted her to leave the area.

MAPLE GROVE

Suspicious activity. Officers went to the 11000 block of Fountains Way about a vehicle in the parking lot carrying a person in a clown outfit. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

OCT. 13

Drunken driving. A 33-year-old Mounds View woman was arrested for drunken driving after hitting a tree on 89th Avenue and Dunkirk Lane.

OCT. 18

Drugs. Officers checked on a vehicle at Kings Point Access after park hours. The passenger, an 18-year-old man, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol.

SHOREWOOD

OCT. 14

Drugs. A 48-year-old Maple Plain man and a 43-year-old Maple Plain woman were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and theft at Cub Foods, 23800 Hwy. 7.
