FEB. 23

Underage consumption. A 17-year-old Shorewood boy was cited for underage drinking and driving, and underage consumption; and a 17-year-old Excelsior boy was cited for underage consumption; following a traffic stop in the 6200 block of Church Road.

FEB. 28

Terroristic threats. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for terroristic threats in the 2200 block of Lyman Boulevard.

Drugs. A 49-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at Highway 100 and 77th Street.

FEB. 25

Burglary. Two Minneapolis men, ages 23 and 27, were arrested for burglary, property damage and possession of burglary tools, in the 5500 block of Glengarry Parkway.

FEB. 24

Drugs. A 21-year-old Waconia man was arrested for possession of narcotics after he was stopped for an equipment violation at Galpin Lake Road and Oak Street.

INDEPENDENCE

FEB. 26

Drugs. A 20-year-old Delano woman was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on East Lake Rebecca Road.

Property damage. Two snowmobiles were driven onto Pioneer Creek Golf Course, running over tee boxes and greens, at 705 Copeland Road.

Accident. A woman reported that her 16-year-old son, who had just received his driver's license, drove her truck into a ditch in the 2500 block of Pagenkopf Road. She said the boy's father was forced to cut a tree that was obstructing the truck.

MAPLE GROVE

FEB. 22

Drugs. An officer responded to a report of an idling vehicle with its lights off in front of a house in the 11700 block of 99th Place. A 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man and a 16-year-old Maple Grove boy were arrested for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and drug paraphernalia.

Animal complaint. A muskrat was reported on a playground in the 8800 block of County Road 101. An officer took the muskrat to a nearby swamp.

RICHFIELD

FEB. 22

Theft. A 2007 Chevrolet Suburban valued at $12,000 was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 7300 block of 12th Avenue S.

Drunken driving. A 31-year-old Minnetonka man was arrested for drunken driving after getting his vehicle stuck in a snowbank in the 6400 block of Lyndale Avenue S.

Assault. An uncooperative 30-year-old man was arrested for assaulting a police officer who was responding to a road rage incident near 12th Avenue and 68th Street E. The officer sustained a fractured facial bone.

VICTORIA

FEB. 24

Drugs. An 18-year-old Minnetonka man was cited for possession of marijuana at Victoria Drive and 81st Street.
