CHANHASSEN

MAY 3

Drugs. An 18-year-old Belle Plaine man was cited for possession of marijuana on the 6900 block of Hazeltine Boulevard.

Edina

MAY 1

Theft. A chair, valued at $800, was stolen from the 7600 block of Woodview Court.

MAY 2

Theft. Jewelry, valued at $38,323, was stolen from the 5700 block of View Lane.

MAY 7

Drugs. A 21-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Susan and Tracy avenues.

INDEPENDENCE

APRIL 30

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to the 1000 block of County Road 83 on a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Officers found the vehicle tipped over so that the driver side rear wheel was suspended in the air. The 20-year-old male driver, en route to a party, said the accident occurred while attempting to park alongside the road.

MAPLE PLAIN

MAY 1

Stolen vehicle. A 34-year-old man reported his vehicle was stolen from the 5200 block of Bryantwood Drive. A short time before his call, police got a call from a repossession company advising that his vehicle was being repossessed. The owner was advised of the repossession.

MEDINA

MAY 5

Drugs. A 25-year-old Eden Valley man was cited for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding following a traffic stop at Hwy. 55 and Willow Drive.

MINNETRISTA

MAY 2

Alcohol violation. An 18-year-old Mound man was cited for underage possession of alcohol after he was stopped for speeding at Game Farm and Blair Roads. The passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was cited for possession of marijuana.

PLYMOUTH

MAY 5

Drugs. A 17-year-old boy was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on the 17300 block of Medina Road.

RICHFIELD

MAY 4

Drugs. A 31-year-old Apple Valley woman was arrested for possession of narcotics following a traffic stop on 78th Street and Portland Avenue.

MAY 9

Assault. Officers responded to the 7000 block of 3rd Avenue S. to take a 24-year-old Richfield man to a detox facility. He attempted to spit on and kick an officer. He was arrested for assaulting a police officer.

MAY 13

Burglary. Officers responded to a home on the 6800 block of 12th Avenue S. on a report of a disturbance that later turned into a burglary in progress. A 36-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for burglary.

Assault. Officers responded to an apartment on the 500 block of 73rd Street E. on a report of a disturbance. A 41-year-old Richfield man was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon after he hit someone on the head with a broken beer bottle.

MAY 14

Drugs. An 18-year-old Edina man and a 19-year-old Richfield man were cited for possession of marijuana after their vehicle was stopped on the 6600 block of Lyndale Avenue S.
