Underage consumption. A 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were cited for underage consumption of alcohol in the 2300 block of Hwy. 7.

JUNE 7

Drugs. A 19-year-old man was cited for possession of hypodermic needles and arrested on a warrant in the 400 block of W. 79th Street.

Weapon. An 18-year-old man was cited for possession of a dangerous weapon, speeding and no proof of insurance following a traffic stop at Powers Boulevard and Pioneer Trail.

CORCORAN

JUNE 2

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a late-night report of a person lying in the weeds near the road in the 19400 block of Schutte Road. They spoke with an 18-year-old man, who said he had stopped to watch the lightning.

JUNE 3

Drunken driving. A citizen reported that a person was too intoxicated to drive a golf cart in the 10700 block of County Road 116. Officers spoke with the 46-year-old man, who agreed not to drive and find a different way home.

EDINA

MAY 28

Theft. A 1996 Toyota Camry was stolen from the 4400 block of Fondell Drive.

JUNE 3

Drugs. A 20-year-old Savage man was arrested for possession of marijuana and a 20-year-old Edina man was arrested for underage consumption following a traffic stop in the 4500 block of Country Club Road.

LORETTO

JUNE 2

Drugs. A 31-year-old Medina man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding after he was stopped at Chippewa Road and Sunnyridge Lane.

MAPLE GROVE

MAY 29

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Zopfi Way. They found a male who said he was checking on his girlfriend's whereabouts to make sure she wasn't lying.

JUNE 3

Animal complaint. A snapping turtle was reported in the 8400 block of Zanzibar Lane. An officer moved the turtle to a nearby swamp.

Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of a person sitting on a wall at the top of a transit ramp in the 12000 block of Main Street. They contacted the person, who was cooperative and enjoying the sunset.

Vandalism. Cheese was sprayed on the windows of a home in the 15000 block of 91st Avenue.

MEDINA

JUNE 4

Assist public. Officers responded to a report of a 3-year-old child locked inside a vehicle in the 2600 block of Hamel Road. They were able to unlock the vehicle and the child was fine.

MINNETRISTA

JUNE 4

Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of a 911 hang-up call at a home on Tower Street. They found that a child was playing with the phone.

PLYMOUTH

JUNE 6

Weapon. A 13-year-old was arrested for possession of a knife on school property at Armstrong High School, 10635 36th Av. N.

Richfield

JUNE 4

Drugs. Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 1100 block of Woodlake Lane. A 28-year-old Stillwater man was cited for an open bottle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
