CHANHASSEN

DEC. 16

Drugs. A Maple Plain woman, 29, an Edina man, 35, and a Chanhassen man, 36, were cited for possession of a controlled substance in the 7600 block of Great Plains Boulevard.

CHASKA

DEC. 18

Driving violation. A 17-year-old boy was cited for using wireless communication while driving after he was involved in a vehicle accident at Hwy. 41 and Lyman Boulevard.

EDINA

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 6700 block of Valley View Road. A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

DEC. 20

Theft. Two 16-year-old girls were arrested for theft after they were caught shoplifting at Macy's in Southdale Center.

DEC. 22

Drunken driving. A 51-year-old Minnetrista woman was arrested for drunken driving and possession of a controlled substance after she was stopped in the 6100 block of Crosstown Hwy. 62.

Theft. A trailer valued at $4,000 was stolen from the 4400 block of 77th Street.

GREENWOOD

DEC. 18

Weapon. A 42-year-old Clear Lake man was arrested for carrying a pistol while under the influence of alcohol after she was stopped for a traffic violation near Christmas Lake Road and Hwy. 7.

MINNETRISTA

Fire. Officers responded to a report of something burning at a home on Partridge Road. They found an unattended space heater in the driveway and turned it off.

DEC. 27

Check welfare. Officers responded to a 911 call placed from a home on Fairway Ridge Court. They found that children were playing with a phone and that there was no emergency.

DEC. 29

Weapon. Officers responded to a report of gun shots at the Tuxedo Boulevard boat access. Officers found a resident who admitted shooting a pellet gun at a squirrel.

DEC. 22

Burglary. A ring valued at $6,700 was stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage in the 13400 block of 60th Place.

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 11300 block of Hwy. 55. The driver, a 46-year-old Maple Lake man, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robbery. Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Starbucks, 7610 Lyndale Av. S. The suspect fled with $1,189 and was not located.

DEC. 22

Theft. Officers conducted a felony stop after a stolen vehicle was located in the 7100 block of Cedar Avenue. A 24-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for possession of stolen property and marijuana. He also had three outstanding warrants.

Robbery. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Walgreens, 12 66th St. W. A male suspect had gone into the pharmacy, demanded prescription medications and then fled.
