CHANHASSEN

JAN. 1

Underage consumption. Two 18-year-old men, four 17-year-old boys, two 17-year-old girls, three 16-year-old boys and two 16-year-old girls were cited for underage consumption in the 6900 block of Lake Harrison Circle.

JAN. 2

Drugs. A 16-year-old Chaska boy was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and failure to yield after he was involved in an accident at Lake Hazeltine Drive and Lyman Boulevard.

DEC. 20

Suspicious person. An officer responded to a report of a suspicious person entering a home through the garage in the 7700 block of Ranier Lane. The homeowner said the suspicious person was their son and there were no problems.

DEC. 21

Animal complaint. A resident in the 8300 block of Niagara Lane reported that a deer was lying in their yard. An officer found the deer, which was apparently uninjured and ran away.

Theft. Passports were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 9600 block of Grove Circle.

MAPLE PLAIN

DEC. 29

Fire alarm. An officer responded to a report of a fire alarm at an apartment in the 1500 block of Howard Avenue. A 47-year-old woman admitted to smoking a cigarette in the apartment because it was cold outside. The alarms were reset and the residence aired out.

PLYMOUTH

Burglary. A 2011 GMC Yukon Denali was stolen from a garage in the 4500 block of Wellington Lane. The garage door had been left open and the keys were inside the vehicle.

Weapon. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Hwy. 55 and South Shore Drive, smelled marijuana and found a handgun during a search of the vehicle. A 17-year-old girl was arrested for possession of a firearm.

RICHFIELD

DEC. 23

Drugs. A 24-year-old Richfield man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle after he was found sleeping in the vehicle at W. 63rd Street and Aldrich Avenue S.

Drunken driving. A 19-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for drunken driving, underage consumption and possession of an open bottle following a traffic stop for driving offenses in the 6600 block of Lyndale Avenue S. A passenger, an 18-year-old Minneapolis woman, was cited for underage consumption.

Assault. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man refusing to leave the 6500 block of Nicollet Avenue S. The 25-year-old Richfield man was uncooperative and arrested for assaulting the officers.

DEC. 26

Weapon. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 7700 block of 12th Avenue S. They found methamphetamine and a gun in the vehicle, and arrested a 40-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man for possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of methamphetamine.

SHOREWOOD

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Broms Boulevard and Vine Hill Road. They arrested a 28-year-old Minneapolis man on a warrant.
