Drugs. A 20-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, drunken driving and false identification following a traffic stop at Santa Vera and Saratoga drives.

DEC. 28

Drugs. A 19-year-old Watertown man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and no proof of insurance after he was stopped at Dakota and Cheyenne avenues.


DEC. 26

Drunken driving. A 32-year-old Edina man was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and criminal vehicular operation after he was involved in a traffic accident at Interlachen Boulevard and Vernon Avenue.

Suspicious activity. An officer observed a vehicle in a cemetery at County Road 90 and Highway 12 shortly before 1 a.m. The driver, an 18-year-old Maple Plain man, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The passenger, a 16-year-old Mound girl, was cited for curfew violation. Her parents were called and said they were unaware she was not at home.


DEC. 24

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle repeatedly pulling in and out of parking spaces at a lot in the 18800 block of 67th Avenue. They determined that a man was giving his son lessons on how to park.


DEC. 21

Alarm. Officers responded to a report of a silent panic alarm at the Bank of Maple Plain, 4980 Hwy. 12. Bank managers told officers that a new employee had accidentally pulled the alarm and that everything was fine.

Driving violation. A 17-year-old Independence girl was cited for a provisional license violation after an officer saw her texting while driving at Baker Park Road and Hwy. 12. Her father was notified.


DEC. 25

Theft. Officers responded to a report of a theft of a 2008 Mazda 6 at Holiday, 10900 Hwy. 55. The vehicle had been left unlocked and running. Officers stopped the vehicle in another city and arrested a 15-year-old boy.


DEC. 25

Burglary. Officers responded to a report of an alarm call at Boost Mobile, 6465 Lyndale Av. S. The alarm company reported that a vehicle had driven through the business’ front window and that a suspect had stolen several items. The amount of the loss was unknown.

DEC. 26

Theft. A 2004 Acura TSX was stolen from the 7700 block of 12th Avenue S. The vehicle had been left running with the keys inside.

Theft. A 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer was stolen from the 2900 block of 66th Street W. The vehicle, which had been left running with the keys inside, was later recovered in Eden Prairie.


DEC. 23

Drunken driving. A 42-year-old Chanhassen woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was stopped for a traffic violation near Chaska Road and Hwy. 7.


DEC. 24

Assault. Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 400 block of Lake Street W. A 48-year-old Waconia woman was arrested for interfering with a 911 call.
