Drugs. A 17-year-old Shorewood boy was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Powers Boulevard and Saddlebrook Trail.

FEB. 4

Underage consumption. Three juvenile females were cited for underage consumption on the 6600 block of Church Road.

Burglary. An 18-year-old Excelsior man was arrested for burglary at a home on the 6300 block of Melody Lane.

FEB. 6

Theft. A Shorewood woman, 18, was arrested for theft after she was caught shoplifting at Target, 851 W. 78th St.

EXCELSIOR

FEB. 3

Drugs. A 38-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine after he was stopped for erratic driving near George and Water streets.

FEB. 8

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a home on 3rd Avenue regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in a resident's driveway. Officers found it was a pizza delivery driver who was at the wrong address.

INDEPENDENCE

FEB. 5

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home on the 8500 block of Hitsman Lane regarding a 911 hang-up call. The homeowner said his grandson was playing with the phone and everything was all right.

MAPLE GROVE

JAN. 26

Check welfare. Officers responded to the 8000 block of Wedgewood Lane regarding a child left inside a running vehicle parked in front of a business. Officers located the parent and spoke about the dangers of leaving a child inside an unattended vehicle.

MEDINA

FEB. 1

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to the 100 block of Hamel Road regarding a parking complaint and people sitting under blankets near the door. It appeared all cars were parked legally. The people were waiting in line to sign up for a barrel race at the Hamel Rodeo.

FEB. 4

Animal complaint. Officers responded to Target, 300 Clydesdale Trail, regarding an animal complaint. A group of 20- to 30-year-olds came in the front door and released four pigeons into the store.

FEB. 5

Check welfare. Someone reported that it appeared there wasn't anyone working at Dairy Queen, 752 Hwy. 55. Officers arrived and found an employee, who said everything was all right and that he had been in the back of the store.

MINNETRISTA

FEB. 6

Weapon. A resident on County Road 19 reported that at 4:05 a.m. people were lurking outside her house, looking in. She fired several shots to the ground with a rifle as warning shots. Officers arrived and found no footprints indicating that people had been there. The caller, a 33-year-old woman, was arrested for reckless discharge of a weapon.

PLYMOUTH

FEB. 7

Burglary. A television valued at $695 was stolen from a home on the 18100 block of 13th Avenue. Entry was gained through an unlocked window.

VICTORIA

FEB. 6

Drugs. A 19-year-old Victoria man was cited for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at Highway 5 and 80th Street.
