Drugs. A 19-year-old Excelsior woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol at Dogwood and Elm Tree avenues.

NOV. 17

Drunken driving. A 17-year-old boy was arrested for drunken driving and another 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, following a traffic stop in the 5100 block of 66th Street.

NOV. 21

Burglary. Money and a wooden cash box were stolen from the Edina Bistro, 7078 Amundson Av.

Theft. A 35-year-old White Bear Lake man was arrested for theft after he was caught stealing dog treats, muffins and coffee cake at Lunds & Byerlys, 7171 France Av. S.

Drugs. Two 17-year-old girls were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 6500 block of York Avenue S.

NOV. 23

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a fight in the 600 block of Excelsior Boulevard. A 22-year-old was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct.

INDEPENDENCE

NOV. 26

Check welfare. An officer responded to a report that two people were carrying luggage along Highway 12 near County Line Road. The officer located two Monticello women, ages 19 and 43, who said they were walking to the state of Indiana from Cokato. The officer gave them a ride to Long Lake.

NOV. 12

Burglary. Officers responded to a report of someone breaking into a garage and entering vehicles while residents were at home in the 13600 block of 86th Avenue. A 22-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for burglary, assault and giving a false name to a police officer.

NOV. 24

Check welfare. An officer responded to a report that a 1-year-old boy had been left in a stroller for 10 to 15 minutes at Kohl's, 8080 Wedgewood Lane. The parents, a 45-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, told the officer that there had been confusion as to who would watch the child at the store. The officer determined that it was an honest mistake.

NOV. 22

Animal complaint. Officers responded to a report that a deer had fallen through the ice and was in distress on South Bay Drive. With the help of Hennepin County Water Patrol, they were able to rescue the deer and get it to shore.

Plymouth

NOV. 20

Theft. A woman from the 9600 block of 37th Place reported that someone had stolen her cat.

Weapon. A 22-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for a weapons violation after an officer found two handguns following a traffic stop at Interstate 494 and Bass Lake Road.

Drugs. An 18-year-old Maple Grove woman and a 20-year-old Wyoming man were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Northwest Boulevard and W. Medicine Lake Drive.

RICHFIELD

NOV. 25

Assault. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man threatening someone with scissors in the 6700 block of 2nd Avenue S. The 36-year-old Richfield man was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, obstructing the legal process and terroristic threats.
