Accident. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle hitting the building at Wells Fargo, 935 Prairie Center Drive. There were no injuries and the driver was not impaired.

EDINA

MARCH 14

Theft. A 2015 Chevrolet Traverse valued at $54,000 was stolen from the 5200 block of Richwood Drive.

MARCH 18

Theft. A 60-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for theft and driving after suspension after he stole king crab legs valued at $440 from Jerry's Foods, 5125 Vernon Av.

INDEPENDENCE

MARCH 21

Suspicious activity. Officers found a vehicle parked late at night on the shoulder at Budd Street and Pagenkopf Road. A female was sleeping in the front seat with camera equipment. She told the officers she was waiting for the northern lights.

MAPLE GROVE

MARCH 5

Safety check. Officers responded to a report of two adults and two young children playing on a pond with open water in the 9500 block of 103rd Avenue. They advised the parties from shore of the hazards of being on thin ice, and the parties left the area.

MARCH 6

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of people building a fire in a park after hours in the 6200 block of Eagle Lake Drive. They made contact with juveniles who were out past curfew, and notified their parents.

MARCH 8

Assault. Officers responded to a report of a fight at Dave and Buster's, 11780 Fountains Way. A 22-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested for possession of heroin and a 30-year-old Blaine man was cited for disorderly conduct.

MARCH 9

Traffic complaint. Someone reported that a vehicle was speeding and all over the road at Hwy. 169 and Interstate 94. Officers, who learned the vehicle was stolen out of Minneapolis, stopped the vehicle and discovered a 13-year-old was driving. Parties in the car were taken to the police department, and one person was arrested for theft.

MAPLE PLAIN

MARCH 19

Noise complaint. Officers responded to a noise complaint at an apartment in the 1800 block of Newport Street. A man said he and his wife had been doing jumping jacks when a neighbor came to complain. Both parties were told that nothing criminal had happened and to bring the complaint to management.

MEDINA

MARCH 15

Animal complaint. A woman reported a fox running through her neighborhood in the 3700 block of Linden Drive W., and said she was concerned for her small dog. She was advised that fox aren't typically aggressive toward small animals that aren't injured and that she should contact her building association about the issue. She was also told there are professionals who capture and relocate wild animals.

PLYMOUTH

MARCH 19

Weapon. A 19-year-old Plymouth man was arrested for a weapons violation following a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Lancaster Lane. A brass knuckle-styled knife was found in plain view in his vehicle.

WACONIA

MARCH 18

Drugs. Three juvenile males and a juvenile female were cited for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a nicotine delivery device, and underage possession and consumption of alcohol, in the 100 block of Cedar Street N.
