West business briefs: Store pledging share of proceeds for VEAP

RICHFIELD

Store pledging share of proceeds for VEAPCone Brothers Ice Cream and Candy Shop has pledged 10 percent of the shop's gross candy sales to Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP), a Twin Cities-based nonprofit group helping lower-income people in Richfield, Bloomington, Edina and south Minneapolis.

The donation period began on Black Friday and runs through Christmas Eve. The store is located at 6633 Penn Av. S., and its website is www.conebrothers.com.
