Teddy Bear Band to play for childrenKids games, face-painting and food will be featured along with the Teddy Bear Band in a concert Sunday at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 5218 Bartlett Blvd.

MacPhail Center sets music fest for childrenChildren can visit a musical instrument "petting zoo" or make their own instrument at a free KidsFest from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 11 at MacPhail Center for Music, 501 S. 2nd St.

Children will have the chance to try a variety of musical instruments. MacPhail Center offers lessons from children starting at 6 weeks of age. Learn more: www.macphail.org.

The ensemble will present a program including classical, opera, Broadway, cabaret and comedy. They will be accompanied by pianist/accordionist Dan Chouinard.
