There are dollar deals to be had weekdays at Twin Cities Macy's (including 700 Nicollet Mall, Mpls., 612-375-2200, www.macys.com), when the store's deli departments put up a different $1 item (the deal kicks in with the purchase of any other food item). For example: on Tuesday, it's one of the store's chewy cookies, on Wednesday it's a gigantic Rice Krispies bar and on Thursday it's a refreshing glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade.
