Snow will accumulate in Colorado overnight, but this will not be as big as thestorm earlier this week that brought up to a foot of snow to the Denver area. This one is more likely to produce 2 or 3 inches in the city and maybe 5 or 6inches in the foothills.
Moving out across the central Plains, the storm will run out of cold air andcause nothing but rain. It will be a raw day for residents of Kansas, westernMissouri and southeastern Nebraska with temperatures in the 40s.
Wet weather will spread into the Eastern part of the country during the secondhalf of the weekend. By late afternoon Sunday, the leading edge of the rainwill stretch from roughly Elmira, New York to Baltimore, Maryland. East of thatline, rain won't move in until Sunday night.
By the way, this could turn into a significant snow event for areas up north.
Eastern upstate New York, Vermont, northern New Hampshire and northern Mainecould get enough snow to shovel Sunday night and Monday.
