Weekend options: Sever's Corn Maze, King's Fair

SEVER'S CORN MAZE

This season's maze challenge has a Minnesota theme. Follow your map through the twists and turns of the maze to find fun facts about the state. Locate the six signs of "Sever Bunyan" to enter a grand prize drawing. Magician Matt Dunn will cut a volunteer in half and Kevin Vogel presents a wildlife animal show. Attractions include pig races, giant slide, corn pit, canary tent and more. (1-8 p.m. Fri.; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sat.; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sun. $13. KING'S FAIR

It's not about royalty, but the name used for this precursor to the Minnesota State Fair that was held in south Minneapolis from 1877-1882. Now modernized, the name is used for a biennial gathering in the Seward neighborhood. Costumed pets will be on parade. Yoga and Aikido demonstrations.
