Excelsior Apple Day

The fall harvest is in and the city of Excelsior is celebrating with some good old-fashioned fun. Buy unique items at the artisan vendor fair. Little ones can keep busy at the kids corner, and adults can hang out in the beer and wine garden. Bakers will compete in an apple pie and dessert contest. Live music from Kung Fu Hippies, Basement Kings and others. (9 a.m.-10 p.m. Sat. Free. Downtown Excelsior, Water Street, Excelsior. excelsior-lakeminnetonkachamber.com/apple-day.html.)
