The ground is still too soft to work in the lawn or garden this weekend, so dust off the chaise lounge, air out the beach towel, and start on the base tan that looks as if you spent spring break in Cancun.

But before or after peak sunning, here are several deals worth a look this weekend.

(877 Grand Av., St. Paul; 3925 W. 50th St., Edina) discounts nearly everything in stock 20 percent . Only regular-priced items, electrics and crop shares are exempted.

Arby's is offering a buy-one Rueben get-one free for St. Patrick's Day, but the offer is also good Friday and Sunday. Click here to download the coupon.

The kids consignment sale kickoff begins this weekend with the Just Between Friends sale in Eagan (High Performance Academy, 2950 Lexington Av., , 763-226-5526). Much better selection than a garage sale and lower prices than Once Upon a Child consignment, the Eagan sale is one of the larger kids consignment sales with a huge amount of clothes and toys, all in very good to excellent condition. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
