Help restore the park’s ­prairie by collecting seeds from native plants. The seeds will be processed and replanted in the park to restore prairies. Also learn how past seed collections have created some beautiful areas in the park. Arrive anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. but plan on a minimum of two hours for seed collection.
