Wednesday injury report

Antoine Winfield was limited in first practice since injury

November 11, 2009 at 9:37PM

The Vikings injury report naturally was smaller coming off the bye week.

As we wrote earlier, Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield (right foot) returned to practice for the first time since suffering his injury Oct. 18 vs. Baltimore and had limited participation. Winfield had already left the practice field when the media was allowed in so we didn't get a chance to talk to him.

Brett Favre (hip) also was limited but his injury is not considered too serious. E.J. Henderson (knee) and Bernard Berrian (hamstring) also were limited.

Darius Reynaud (hamstring) and Jasper Brinkley (hamstring) took part in the entire practice.

For the Detroit Lions, 10 players were listed on the report. Specifically, linebackers Larry Foote (knee) and Ernie Sims (hamstring) did not practice.
