We need something that can last all day. Could it be this?

As noted last week, today will be sparse here at RandBall. You'll get an opening post and a closing post. In the middle, you will get nothing and you will like it! In the mean time, we'll be out at the 3M golf media day at the TPC in Blaine, flailing our way around a golf course in an attempt to 1) figure out everything we've been doing wrong all these years and 2) writing about some of those things for the Newspaper Of the Twin Cities. If you would like to experience some of our struggles in real time, we will (hopefully) be working heavily on Twitter. In the mean time, we need something that can last all day (Michael Scott joke goes right here). So we are enlisting the help of a trusty commenter draft. The rules, as always, are simple: once a selection is taken, it is off the board and not available. If this was not a draft rule, the Timberwolves' history would (or at least could) be much different.

The subject of this Commenter Draft: Your favorite Twin Cities sports season ever. As in, "1983 Vikings" or "1995 Twins" or "1974 Gophers football." (Note: Probably none of those). But we're looking for year and team. Your favorite ever. What gave you the most joy? What was that perfect combination? First commenter, you are on the clock.
