An area of low pressure moving into the West will cause unsettled weatherfrom California northward into Washington, Idaho and western Montana. Showersand thunderstorms will be scattered across this region, along with the threatof hail near the low pressure.Hot and humid weather will persist from the Plains into the Southeast.

Widespread high temperatures in the 90s are expected along with a few locationsreaching 100 degrees. Also, high dewpoints will make it feel even warmer thanthe actual high temperatures.

A warm front will cause some rainfall across New England while a cold frontfrom the same storm system results in a couple of showers and thunderstormsfrom Wisconsin into Michigan.
