Weather delays start of Class 2A golf tournament in Jordan

The final round of the boys' tournament was delayed when rain storms moved into the area.

A weather delay Wednesday morning postponed the start of the final round of the Class 2A boys' golf state tournament at Ridge at Sand Creek in Jordan, according to the Minnesota State High School League.

Tee times had been scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. There is no word on when play will begin. Play in the girls' tournament had been set for early Wednesday afternoon.

The Class 3A tournament for boys and girls is being played at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids. The Class 1A tournament for boys and girls is in Becker .
