As expected, Tuesday's weather was pretty brutal at the Augusta National Golf Club. The temperature barely made it past 50 degrees and the wind was gusting to 30 mph.

I guarantee it will not remain this bad all week. As a matter of fact, it will get pretty nice for the first round. There will be a good deal of sunshine on Thursday, winds will be much lighter and afternoon temperatures will be in the comfortable 70s.

On Friday, showers will swing in from the west, but it may stay dry in Augusta through the middle of the day. During the late afternoon and evening, there could be a period of thunder and lightning which is always of great concern to the players.

During the weekend, the front will move off to the east paving the way for dry, pleasant conditions for the final two rounds.
