Badgers drop UMD; Burnsville prep gets the game-winnerFormer Burnsville Blaze forward Tyler Barnes scored the game-winner for Wisconsin, and netminder Joel Rumpel stopped 29 shots in the visiting team's 2-0 victory over Minnesota Duluth.

Mark Zengerle scored on the power play for the Badgers and assisted on Barnes' goal.

Bulldog and former Wayzata Trojan Tony Cameranesi had seven shots turned away.

N. DAKOTA 4, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 1: Danny Kristo had three assists for the Grand Forks-based team. UND's scorers: Corban Knight, Drake Caggiula, Carter Rowney and former Duluth East star Derek Forbort.

ST. CLOUD ST. 5, MANKATO 1: The Huskies' Drew LeBlanc, the pride of Hermantown, scored once and assisted on three others for the hosts.

BEMIDJI STATE 3, NEB.- OMAHA 3: Brainerd product Josh Archibald scored and had an assist for Omaha.

DENVER 5, MICH. TECH 1: David Makowski and Nick Shore each had a goal and an assist for the hometown Pioneers.

CORNELL 2, COLO. COLLEGE 0: In nonconference play, the hosts' John Esposito scored twice on the power play.
