Anyone who thinks that WCCO is still not a jewel in CBS's crown just has to look at who the network has tapped to take over the station. Brien Kennedy, was named vp and general manager a few minutes ago and while I don't know him personally his resume is impressive.
He's previously overseen stations in Miami, West Palm Beach, Phoenix and Atlanta, which makes me wonder just how the heck he's going to deal with Minnesota weather. We hope to have a conversation with him later today.
Kennedy replaces Susan Adams Loyd who announced last month that she's stepping aside.
