Wayzata hockey and the meaning of 'everything like that'

A look back to the 2016 state hockey tournament, when a postgame interview went viral because of the answers given by a Wayzata player (and everything like that).

If you read the Star Tribune high school hockey preview, you may have noticed that defending 2A boys' champion Wayzata is among the 10 teams to watch in a list compiled by David La Vaque, our high school hockey guy.

La Vaque wrote: "Defending 2A champs anchored by solid defense and goaltending and everything like that."

Everything like that?

No, it wasn't a sloppy phrase that needed to be edited. It was a tribute to Mark Senden, the Wayzata hockey star currently playing in the United States Hockey League for the Des Moines Buccaneers. In March, after Wayzata won its quarterfinal game, Senden was interviewed by Tori Holt of Ch. 45.

If you saw the interview, it's something you aren't likely to forget.

If you didn't, we figured it was only right to let you in on the joke, and everything like that.
