There was all kinds of excitement and analysis Thursday night as the Wolves added No. 1 pick Karl-Anthony Towns and Apple Valley icon Tyus Jones to their roster.

Here's a look at the night on video.

A few minutes after Towns was drafted, he talked to the Star Tribune's Jerry Zgoda about a range of issues, including his imaginary 'Karlito."

Here's a bit more about the creation of Karlito. Get used to him, Wolves fans.

Now, on to the 508 Bar, where Apple Valley's Tyus Jones were waiting to learn his fate, which turned out to be even better than he expected. Michael Rand was on the scene.

Back to Target Center, where about 8,000 fans gathered for a draft party. Here's how they reacted when the Wolves took Towns:

Former Cooper star Rashad Vaughn, who played for one season at Nevada-Las Vegas, was taken by Milwaukee, which had the 17th pick. Here's a breakdown from CBS Sports.
