WASHINGTON — Washington Wizards forward Paul Pierce was declared out of Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a sore right toe.
The Wizards made the announcement before the game.
Pierce, who had not missed any games, is averaging 13.2 points.
Otto Porter is scheduled to start in Pierce's place.
