Washington County taxes, valuations now on Web

March 15, 2014 at 9:53PM

Washington County will mail 2014 tax statements and 2015 valuation notices to property owners at the end of March.

Before then, property owners can view their new valuations at washington.minnesotaassessors.com.

Users should click on "Real Estate Search" and then enter a house number, street address, property identification number or legal description. The valuation, set Jan. 2, will be used for taxes payable in 2015.

Meetings to review the valuations will begin April 7 and run through the first week of May, said Jennifer Wagenius, director of the county's Property Records and Taxpayer Services division.

A list of the 2014 appeals meeting schedule also can be found on the website.

For more information, call the property records division at 651-430-6175.
