Stories read from good old-fashioned print books remain in high demand at Washington County libraries, where nearly 19,000 people will participate this year. "All of our story times are well attended," said Amy Stenftenagel, a library spokeswoman. "In our experience, from what we see, reading is not dead at all." Story times are held for preschoolers, toddlers, babies — and even grown-ups. Kids read to therapy dogs, too. For details, see the library tab at www.co.washington.mn.us.
