Suspicious activity. A man with a flashlight was reported near a pipeline in the 7000 block of 115th Street at 2:30 a.m. The man was an employee of Koch Pipeline. The complainant had been expecting the man, but not at that time.

Neighbor complaint. Left over garage sale items sitting outside a residence in the 4300 block of Empress Drive were reported to authorities. The complainant, who said the items were an eyesore, was advised to contact their homeowners association.

Suspicious situation. Someone in the 8000 block of Cherrywood Trail reported finding three water bottle caps in their mailbox in the last several months. They also said they'd noticed what they thought were suspicious vehicles parked on the street at night.

Suspicious activity. A deer head was found in a hammock in the 2000 block of Riviera Avenue. The complainant said an eviction problem she had with a renter might be behind the incident.

Suspicious activity. A woman in the 200 block of Bruening Court reported hearing what sounded like someone in her bushes. It was determined the noise came from branches brushing up against her window.

Lighting complaint. Someone in the 60 block of Grove Street reported their neighbor's outside lights were shining into their home at 3 a.m.

Suspicious activity. A deputy was unable to locate a vehicle whose occupants were reported honking the horn and throwing firecrackers out the window while driving through Jackson Meadow at 10:30 p.m.

JUNE 19

Check welfare. A male was reported laying in the grass on the side of the road in the 5300 block of Geneva Avenue at 5:15 a.m. The man told an officer he was walking to work and got tired. The man showed signs of intoxication and provided an alcohol blood test of .195. A friend was contacted and took responsibility for the man.

Suspicious activity. A juvenile in the 6600 block of 15th Street was seen throwing a gray BMX bike they had been riding onto the grass before getting into a black sedan that pulled up alongside them. The bike was located and entered as found property. It had not been reported stolen.

JUNE 20

Animal concern. Eight dead geese were found near a pond in the 4800 block of Grenwich Trail. No trauma or blood was apparent on the bodies, which were spread out on the outskirts of the pond.

JUNE 21

Found animal. A chicken was found in the 2700 block of Gresham Avenue. The person who found the chicken said they'd hang onto it for a day to see if the owner turned up.

Kids left in running vehicle. Several children between the ages of 8 and 10 were reportedly left unattended in a running vehicle outside Dollar Tree, 7150 Valley Creek Plaza. An officer explained to the caller that kids of that age know how to control a vehicle's thermostat and call for help if needed.

JUNE 23

Dumping complaint. Police received a report that someone in the 1200 block of Whistler Point Road was dumping rocks from their yard onto a nearby lot. The owner of the home where the rocks came from was apologetic, stating workers from her landscaping business thought they could dump the rocks there. She said she would have them picked up.
