DELLWOOD

APRIL 12

ATV complaint. A resident called police concerned about the safety of a juvenile driving an ATV on the road without a helmet in the 10 block of Dorel Road. An officer spoke to the juvenile and his father about ATV ordinances and left them a booklet on ATV safety.

HUGO

APRIL 13

Suspicious activity. Police were dispatched to a foreclosed home in the 6000 block of 145th Street on a report of people trying to remove a shed from the back yard. An officer accompanied one of the people from the group who went to get paperwork proving the shed was regarded as personal property and could be taken.

APRIL 16

Road rage/altercation. Two men involved in a driving incident in the area of Everton Avenue and 149th Street each reported the other's behavior to police. One man said he stopped at a stop sign and got out of his vehicle to confront the driver behind him who he felt was tailgating. He said the vehicle then drove around him and later drove by his house. The second driver complained the first man was driving too slow and he didn't believe he was tailgating. He also said they're neighbors so he didn't go out of his way to drive by the other man's house.

LAKE ELMO

APRIL 18

Suspicious activity. A garage door was reported open and the lights inside flashing at 10:30 p.m. at a residence in the 5000 block of Linden Trail. The homeowners told police their son had recently returned home and the garage door was malfunctioning because the electric eye was covered in snow.

MAHTOMEDI

APRIL 12

Vehicle in street. A vehicle rolled down a steep driveway and into the street, blocking traffic in the 200 block of Chelsea Avenue. The owner was contacted, and the vehicle was moved.

OAKDALE

APRIL 10

Domestic dispute. An officer was dispatched to an address in the 2200 block of Hallmark Avenue over a dispute about the use of a vehicle. The complainant told police her brother was upset because she wouldn't let him use their mother's car. The officer informed the brother he had a suspended driver's license and ended up transporting him to a friend's house.

APRIL 13

Animal complaint. Police responded to a report of squirrels getting into an opening in the soffit of a home in the 1700 block of Hale Avenue. The complainant was concerned because his residence is connected to the home with the opening and squirrels were getting into his side. Police advised the complainant to call animal control.

Neighbor dispute/noise complaint. A resident in the 4700 block of Greenwich Road told police his neighbor broke his doorbell when he came over to complain about loud music. The neighbor admitted he was upset about the noise level but denied breaking the doorbell.

WOODBURY

APRIL 12

Shoplifter. A man was cited for shoplifting after taking off his shoes and putting on a pair off the rack at Goodwill, 10450 Hudson Road. The man tried to leave the store without paying. He had also taken two pieces of jewelry, police said.

APRIL 14

Theft from motor vehicle. The front driver's side window was smashed and a purse containing credit cards, $200 in cash and a driver's license was taken from a vehicle in the parking lot of the Stafford Library, 8595 Central Park Place.
