BAYTOWN TOWNSHIP

MARCH 24

Trespassing complaint. A resident in the 4000 block of Pincroft Avenue told police that every day at 5 p.m., a woman walks across her yard. The complainant said she has told the woman to stay off her yard. The complainant said she would try to get the trespasser's address so police can contact her.

HUGO

MARCH 20

Burglary report. Someone broke into Hugo Feed Mill & Hardware, 5582 146th St. The store was searched but nothing appeared to be taken.

Suspicious male. A man who was knocking on doors in the 5000 block of Evergreen Drive told police he was looking for a friend's house. Police advised the man to find his friend's house by a different method than knocking on random doors.

Suspicious activity. A frozen animal carcass was reported in a pond in the 13000 block of Europa Court. Rib bones were visible but most of the carcass had been eaten away. Police believe it was a deer.

OAKDALE

MARCH 19

Animal complaint. A resident in the 6900 block of 40th Street called police about wild turkeys roaming around in Oakdale. The complainant said approximately 40 of the birds have come to his property and eaten his horse feed. Police advised the man to contact the DNR for suggestions on handling the issue.

Disturbance. Police responded to a report of someone throwing popcorn at another patron because the patron was using a cellphone during a movie at the Carmike Oakdale Stadium 20 movie theater, 1188 Helmo Av. Both parties were gone by the time police arrived.

SCANDIA

MARCH 19

Rollover. An officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle that had just rolled over into a ditch in the area of Manning Avenue and 180th Street. The driver told police he was not injured.

MARCH 23

Injured owl. Police responded to a report of an injured owl in the middle of the road in the 11000 block of Norell Avenue. By the time police arrived, the bird had been taken off the road. The Raptor Center was contacted and they agreed to come and pick up the owl.

WEST LAKELAND TOWNSHIP

MARCH 19

Plowing complaint. Police contacted a resident in the area of 10th Street and Stagecoach Trail about her husband plowing snow out into the street. The woman agreed to clean up the snow in the street.

MARCH 18

Scam. A woman in the 1700 block of Ferry Lane reported receiving a call from someone stating they were from Social Security and wanted to send her an updated Medicare card. The caller told the woman they'd need her bank information to issue the card. She hung up without providing any information.

Suspicious activity. A woman driving home from work reported being followed by a white car with one headlight out. The woman said she made multiple lane changes and the other vehicle did as well. She said she drove around the area near Target, 449 Commerce Drive, several times until the other vehicle made a U-turn and left. She was unable to get a plate number.
