Open door. Police noticed the east-side double doors were unlocked and the south-side door was wide open to Hooley Hall on the Washington County Fairgrounds, 12300 N. 40th St. An officer secured the building.

Abandoned vehicle. A white Lexus was reportedly parked facing the wrong way in the area of Jeffrey Boulevard and Jamaca Avenue for three days. The registered owner was contacted; she told police that her son uses the vehicle to drive to school but it was unclear why he'd parked it there.

Burglary. The front door of Guys and Dolls Salon, 14643 Mercantile Drive, was smashed in and the cash drawer was open with all the cash missing, according to police reports.

Burning complaint/smell. Police were dispatched to the 16000 block of 20th Street on a call that someone was possibly burning plastic. Police found a man burning wood in a stove in a garage. He said he was only burning wood, and there was no evidence he was burning anything illegally.
