Motorcycle down. A motorcycle was reported blocking the road on Forest Boulevard near 170th Street. Police determined the motorcycle had fallen off a trailer and was not part of an accident.

Harassing sign. A woman complained about a sign at the Blacksmith Lounge, 17205 Forest Blvd., identifying her as having passed a bad check there. She told police she was offended and felt it was a violation of her rights. She did admit to having bounced a check two years ago at the restaurant and having not settled the matter. Police told her the sign was not a criminal offense.

Theft. The battery to an electric dump trailer was stolen from the Lake Elmo Sod Farm, 456 Manning Av.

Trespassing complaint. A property owner in the 14000 block of Ostlund Trail reported a deer stand in the northeast corner of his land. He had not given anyone permission to hunt on his property and had left a note on the deer stand. Police advised the man to remove it if it was still there.

Disturbance/Suspicious person. Police responded to a report of a drunken man pounding on the front door of Kmart, 7191 10th St. The man told police he didn't realize the store was closed. He was transported home.

Neighbor dispute. An officer dispatched to a dispute in the 6400 block of Upper 56th Street talked with four neighbors, all claiming the others were the bigger drug users, along with other details. A fifth person, from a trailer window, was trying to start a verbal altercation while police were present. No assaults were reported. All parties were told to avoid one another.

OCT. 31

Speeding/driving after suspension. Police pulled over a vehicle they had clocked traveling 45 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 6300 block of 50th Street. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and police also discovered his driver's license was suspended. He was cited for all three infractions.

WEST LAKELAND TOWNSHIP

Suspicious findings. Someone reported finding a bag with a deer skull in it in the area of 30th Street and the Lake Elmo Airport.

Neighbor complaint. Police responded to a report of someone in the 7800 block of Rimbley Road dumping leaves onto his neighbor's yard. Both neighbors, whose disputes go back years, had recently called police on each other. They were advised the issues were not police matters and to try to find other means to resolve them.

OCT. 31

Barking ordinance. The owners of two dogs at separate addresses in the 2400 block of Timberlea Drive were given verbal warnings for violation of the Woodbury barking ordinance.
