Motorcycle down. A motorcycle was reported blocking the road on Forest Boulevard near 170th Street. Police determined the motorcycle had fallen off a trailer and was not part of an accident.

Harassing sign. A woman complained about a sign at the Blacksmith Lounge, 17205 Forest Blvd., identifying her as having passed a bad check there. She told police she was offended and felt it was a violation of her rights. She did admit to having bounced a check two years ago at the restaurant and having not settled the matter. Police told her the sign was not a criminal offense.

Theft. The battery to an electric dump trailer was stolen from the Lake Elmo Sod Farm, 456 Manning Av.
OCT. 31
ATV pulling hay wagon. An officer noticed an ATV pulling a hay wagon with no lights other than Christmas lights down the middle of the road in the 3100 block of Lake Elmo Avenue. There were adults and children in the wagon out trick or treating. The officer advised them it was illegal and dangerous and they ceased the activity.
