NOV. 30

Abandoned vehicle. Police responded to a report regarding a vehicle with Wisconsin license plates parked on the road in the area of Partridge Circle and 145th Street. Police were unable to contact the owner.

DENMARK TOWNSHIP

NOV. 30

Theft. Ski equipment was reported stolen at Afton Alps, 6600 Peller Av.

HUGO

NOV. 29

Suspicious activity. Red laser lights were reported shining on a wall in a home in the 15000 block of Falk Drive. The laser lights appeared to be coming from the woods behind the residence.

LAKE ELMO

NOV. 30

Animal concern. Someone in the 10000 block of 60th Street reported finding a sick cat.

Noise complaint. Police responded to a report of loud music coming from a residence in the Cimarron trailer park. Citations were issued for underage consumption of alcohol.

MAHTOMEDI

NOV. 29

Vandalism report. Someone placed fireworks in a mailbox in the 100 block of Old Wildwood Road. There was no damage and no suspect.

MARINE ON ST. CROIX

NOV. 30

Car/deer accident. A northbound vehicle on St. Croix Trail just north of Maple Street struck a deer that had jumped over the guardrail into the road. The vehicle sustained damage to its front end but was drivable. The deer was not located.

NOV. 29

Cows in roadway. Police responded to a report of cows in the road in the area of Paul Avenue and Ostlund Avenue.

Property damage. A woman in the area of 169th Street and Kimbro Avenue reported hitting her neighbor's mailbox and damaging it.

OAKDALE

NOV. 27

Property damage. A 28-year-old woman in the 1300 block of Gentry Avenue reported observing her cousin smash out the windows of their friend's parked car.

Child neglect. Police responded to a report of three small children dressed inappropriately for the weather outside an apartment complex in the 4000 block of Geneva Avenue. The kids, ages 2, 4 and 6, stated that their mother had kicked them out of their apartment. The 2-year-old was in socks only, and none of the children had coats, hats or mittens. The 21-year-old mother stated that she told the kids to leave. She was booked for child neglect and the children were placed with a family member in St. Paul.

Prescription fraud. A pharmacist at Target, 7900 32nd St., reported that a woman attempted to have a prescription filled for 150 tabs of Oxydodone. It was determined that the prescription was fraudulent; the woman then left without the drug.

NOV. 28

Burglary. Two women reported interrupting car break-ins at an underground garage in the 5600 block of Hadley Avenue. Video showed two suspects who had forced their way in and begun breaking into cars; $1,590 worth of items had been taken from one vehicle.

SCANDIA

NOV. 29

Illegal dumping. Police observed two couches that had been left on the side of the road in the area of Meadowbrook Avenue and 235th Street.
